AI Use Policy

Effective date: May 8, 2026

AIGeoNav uses artificial intelligence to power its market density analysis and geospatial intelligence reports. This policy explains how AI is used, what its limitations are, and what you should expect from AI-generated outputs.

How We Use AI

Our Market Density Calculator and paid reports are powered by large language models (specifically OpenAI's GPT-4o family) combined with structured geospatial and demographic data. When you submit a ZIP code or location, we construct a prompt from publicly available data about that area and request an analysis from the model.

The AI synthesizes information across multiple dimensions:

Data Sent to AI Models

We send geographic and market data (ZIP codes, business categories) to OpenAI's API to generate analysis. We do not send your personal information — email address, payment details, or identity — to AI models. OpenAI processes data according to their Privacy Policy and API data usage policies.

Accuracy & Limitations

AI-generated market analysis is indicative, not definitive. Our models work from patterns in training data and structured inputs — they can miss hyperlocal factors, recent market shifts, zoning changes, or competitive dynamics that a local expert would catch.

Specific limitations to be aware of:

Human Oversight

AI outputs on AIGeoNav are reviewed for structural quality (valid JSON, complete scores, no hallucinated data) before being returned to you. We do not publish AI outputs without validation checks in place. For higher-tier reports, additional methodology review is applied before delivery.

We do not represent AI-generated content as the opinion of a licensed site selection professional unless explicitly stated and credentialed in the report.

How to Use AI Analysis Responsibly

No Automated Decisions with Legal Effect

AIGeoNav's AI outputs do not produce automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. All outputs are analytical tools intended to inform human decision-making.

Feedback & Corrections

If you believe an analysis is materially inaccurate, contact us at hello@aigeonav.ai. We use feedback to improve our prompts, data sources, and validation logic.

Changes to This Policy

As our use of AI evolves, we will update this policy. Check back periodically or email us with questions.
